I built Rebabble to capture short sounds that happen too fast to manually record.
How it works:
- Tap once to start listening mode
- It detects sound and records a clean snippet
- It plays the snippet back instantly
Target users:
- Parents capturing first words, coos, and giggles
- Birders/nature folks recording calls hands-free
Technical/product notes:
- Offline-first and privacy-first (on-device storage)
- Adjustable sensitivity, silence cutoff, min/max duration
- Search, favorites, loop playback
